Shawn showed me the Ta-da Lists web site yesterday because he knows me so well and knows that I am a total lists fangirl. I've got three lists right now: Fun Things To Do, Boring Things To Do, and Library-related Garbage. Unfortunately, the Library-related Garbage is the biggest list I have. It includes fun things like setting up next month's spreadsheets, filling out maintenance request forms and telling our security guard that when I told her to stop reading when she's supposed to be 'protecting' us it included doing word searches.

Do you realize how much I absolutely hate telling people that they should do their job because it's the right thing to do? You were hired to do specific things and not to do specific things. Don't get pissed at me because I have to call you on it. These past two days have been hell because of that. I tread a fine line of wanting to tell people off because of the way they are acting and responding to me and having to be civil because I know it's the right thing to do and I don't want to get in trouble from being so overly sarcastic that it's taken as me being unfair and mean.

People! Sheeeesh. I do love my friends and co-workers who don't make me feel like this.
