This entry will be about the wonderful worlds of hoodies and my birthday. Aside from pajama pants, hoodies are the best article of clothing ever invented. If you have a real hoodie, you know that they are soft and awesome and keep you so warm because they have a little kangaroo pocket for your hands and a nice hood.
I wore hoodies a lot when I visited New Jersey last week, even though there was no snow. Shawn was jealous of my hoodies.
I bring this up because Sandi's back in town for Christmas and she stopped by tonight. She gave me my birthday present--a hoodie! It's a nice, dark red color and is really soft on the inside. What is interesting, though, is that there are little holes cut out of the elastic part that goes by my wrist. I can only assume that my thumbs are supposed to hang out there, so that's what they'll do.
Yay, thanks again, Sandi.
Shawn also gave me some neat presents, like the extra set of bongos, a big comfy turtle and one of those Febreze Scentstories. It will be coming home when he returns, and then the apartment will smell like a mountain trail. Or a walk on the beach.
Also, when I came home last night, there were presents by my apartment door. I thank you, Sara Jensen, for my new librarian action figure and the foodstuffs.
My parents gave me a new digital camera for my birthday, so I took lots of pictures on the trip (ask Sandi. She made the mistake of sitting through a slide show of them). Once I pick out some good ones, I'll put them up here and you can view them for yourself.
Going back to work wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I did miss (almost) everyone and have enjoyed boring them with my tales of the northeast. We'll probably get to leave early tomorrow too. The parish offices like to close early the day before a holiday. I think it's sort of silly, but I'll take the time off, most definitely.
This entry is closed to new comments. Sorry.

I'm glad you liked the action figure, and that nobody had gotten for you yet. I mean, it's a librarian action figure.

Oh, and I forgot about the Entertainment Weekly with the "Lost" cover story! That spawned a lengthy converstation with Sandi last night about the show.

You didn't bring the action figure for me to see. Bring it over for New Years.
