My bid for webmaster of LSU's ALA Student Chapter did not end on a good note. I lost and was a little bummed, but I'll be taking classes for at least a few more years (yay part time student), so let's hope that next time I run ends more successfully.
The one class that I was taking this past semester ended a few weeks ago. If you're interested in some of the work that I produced in that class, you can visit my LSU site and read all about library ethics and the crazy life of John Cotton Dana. I'd really like to continue this whole online portfolio thing for the rest of my time at LSU, so motivation, don't leave me.
As for this web site, it'd be nice if I'd actually get into an updating routine. I have a number of ideas for entries floating around in my head, such as why MySpace is the worst thing ever, the difference between the Debbie Gibson videos of the 80s and today's female pop stars, our adorable kitties who like to drink out of toilets, and our various home improvement projects.

Not to mention that you could probably write endlessly about how awesome I am.

If you devise a way to stop all of this comment spam that appears, I will write the most sickeningly sweet ode to you, Shawn. I'd even use song lyrics to most accurately display my gratitude.

Oh, man, I was just thinking about writing a Debbie-Gibson-vs.-female-stars-of-today rant as well. Seriously, what is wrong with Jessica Simpson. More precisely, what is wrong with people who like Jessica Simpson. Anyway, I started thinking about it because there was an article on Salon.com about stars like Jessica Simpson. I believe it was called "Brainless Hussies."

I'm testing something.
