Go Tigers?

I thought that I would be having my first library school class meeting this Thursday, but it turns out that my professor will be at ALA Midwinter and I won't start class until the following week! Thus, I have that much longer to pretend that I'm not an LSU student.

I went up to Baton Rouge yesterday for orientation. It was decent; I didn't get lost--not even once. I think that I will learn a lot and ready to put to practical use at work what I'll learn at school. If I could just get Shawn to quit calling library school "the nerd factory," I'll be in good shape.

Speaking of Shawn, his mom's in town for a week and we've got lots of fun stuff planned!
