Merry Christmas, everyone.

Let's see, my trip to Disneyworld and birthday were great, even if I came back with a cold and cough. I had a lot of fun with my family, and I'm very glad that we all get along so well. Most of the time, anyway.

My birthday and Christmas presents from Shawn almost all seem to revolve around food and food preparation. We should be really great cooks by this time next year.

I love this time of year. I love where my life is right now. I'm just happy. Sick and happy.

What was your favorite ride? One for Disney and one for Universal, please. I got lots of baking/cooking/eating stuff too. I think it's the standard gift for unmarried girls in their 20's, save for the KitchenAid and CrockPot everyone gets when they get hitched. Oh, except my dad got me a ratcheting screwdriver with 25 bits. But that's about standard for him.

I really liked Mission Space at Epcot. I like Epcot more and more each time I visit. As for Universal, it'll have to be the Fire of the Dueling Dragons coaster becuase the Hulk was closed. Closed! And, I've got a bowl and a book for you.

Mission Space? Is that new or is it the 60's swinging educational tour I'm thinking of? If so, oh, Lauren, you little nerd. how did you like the book? he's got a show on the Travel Channel now - it's called No Reservations, and he's a total jackass, and he is awesome.

Mission Space is not a dorky ride. It makes you think that your chest is going to implode because of all the pressure put on it as your spaceship leaves the earth's atmosphere. You may be thinking of Spaceship Earth, which is my second favorite ride. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and while the Food Network is usually my station of choice, I may have to try the Travel Channel to see him. Also, are you going to Joyce's?

I think I am, yes, but it will be early and not for too long because I want to see the fireworks on the river. I guess I should actually RSVP to Joyce, then, instead of telling everyone on the internets.
