Turkey, who I wrote about last time, told me that he saw me in Wal-mart last night. Also, while I was in the Wal-mart automotive waiting area by the oil change place that has a lot of chairs and NO good magazines, the guy sitting in there told me hello right when I walked in, but I was busy looking out the window to see where my car was so I just sort of said hi back. He then said that he hadn't been to the library lately (like he was ashamed) but he would be back soon to find out what's making those hurricanes tick. I'm a library celebrity in St. Charles Parish.

To brighten my day after seeing that that stupid Dr. Laura The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands is still getting checked out, a lady who I helped find NCLEX test prep marterial for told me that she checked her scores today and she passed. She was so happy and thankful and that just made my day.

Read The Time Traveler's Wife. Geez, it was so good. My mom and Sandi agree with my assessment, so you don't have to put all of your trust in me.

This weekend, though, is all about Harry Potter. I think that I remember what happened in the last book. Maybe I'll skim/re-read it tomorrow evening to get pumped up.

Lauren, I need the last 2 Harry Potters. Still didn't read them. Still reading The Time Traveler's Wife and enjoying it.

Oh, Mom, you're such a Harry Potter slacker.

oh man, lauren. i had to work the harry potter midnight magic party, which meant i worked from 4pm-3am! we had to stop letting people in at 11:30 because the line was so long! we sold 1100 copies! it was insane... they made me dress up, too.

Oh, Kelly, I was thinking of you and figured that you must have had an exciting night at the bookstore! That sounds so insane. What did they make you dress up as? Do you even read the Harry Potter books? The library had the Tumblebus today. Did B&N have that?

Just a little while ago, a patron made me tell her who died! I didn't want to, but she insisted.
