I glanced at a copy of today's Times-Picayune on my way to work last week and was greeted with the headline, "Gay book not child's play, says lawmaker."

This is a mighty disturbing trend, as I remember reading about this Oklahoma incident about two weeks ago. It's also interesting that it's the same book that brought about the issue over there and down here...

Seriously, folks, I understand that sexuality is a touchy subject, but that's why kids have parents. And that's also why parents should be the ones deciding what their kids should read. And what to let them watch on the television. And what sort of video games to let them play. And how to treat all people nicely, even if they're GAY.
