Shawn and I went to a Zephyrs game tonight. It was so much fun even though we were both tired and the Zephyrs really sucked it up (especially you guys, Mr. Second Baseman and Mr. Centerfielder). We left early.
When we were walking to the car, there was a boom and we turned around. Someone had hit a foul ball out of the stadium and it was bouncing around. Some old guy was running for it; he was very determined to get that ball. Unfortunately for him, the ball felt a connection with me and rolled right to me. I grounded that ball like a champ, and now I have a Zephyrs baseball and Shawn doesn't.

You and me both, Lauren. One day we should get together and throw our balls back and forth like jugglers while Shawn watches. And cries. In regards to the old guy, though... if you're saying "old guy" was running for it and he was in a walker or really, really old (like over 65), you are a very bad person and are going straight to hell.. along with the dirty lyric singing Christian music people. Unless old guy has a collection of balls at home, which you certainly could not know.
