And they've started ripping up the carpet at my library. The carpet is old and orange and disgusting and just gross, so I'm glad that we're getting new carpet. The process, however, is what I'm not too keen on.

They're ripping up the carpet around the bookshelves and then putting down those fancy carpet squares. I'm not a fan of the carpet squares, but I think that we chose a decent pattern, and it will definitely be better than the vomit-inducing carpet that we have now.

All of the walls that were painted dark orange have been painted a nice, neutral color and everything looks just so much brighter with them lighter! It's kind of scary. The brightness, I mean.

The weekend was really relaxing and I didn't do much of anything. It's just what the weekend was meant for!
